The Theater am Marientor opened with the musical Les Misérables in 1996. It has 1,524 seats and has been home to TV shows such as ‘Das Supertalent’ (RTL) and ‘Die Versteckte Kamera’ (ZDF), as well as the musicals ‘Mamma Mia’, ‘MOZART!’ and ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’. In 2022, the TaM theatre’s programme featured ‘Rocky Horror Show’ and ‘Hape Kerkeling’s KEIN PARDON’, to name just two examples, and the theatre expanded its repertoire to include events and conventions.
